Never forget. Never look away.
How can humanity remember the devastation of the past and still allow civilians to suffer in Palestine, Ukraine, and so many other places? Different wars, different histories—but again, children lose their childhoods, families lose their homes, and human lives are treated as expendable.
“Never again” cannot remain a phrase we repeat at ceremonies. It must become a responsibility we carry into the present.
Veronika and I created and financed the development of The World Human Peace Foundation. We did it to honour those whose lives were taken, keep today’s suffering visible, and ask humanity to choose another path. Our next step is to bring people and professional communications together through the Peace Against All Wars worldwide campaign.
Remembering is only the beginning. Peace needs people willing to stand together—and act.
