An Open Letter to Mark Zuckerberg — You Connected the World. Now Help Save Its Children.

AN OPEN LETTER • 24 OCTOBER 2026

Dear Mr. Zuckerberg,

Facebook began with an extraordinary idea: connecting people across borders, cultures, religions, and continents. It promised to bring humanity closer together.

Unfortunately, that vision has increasingly been overshadowed by commercial interests, misinformation, fraudulent schemes, hatred, and the pursuit of advertising revenue. We believe a platform capable of connecting billions should do much more to prevent scams and protect its users.

You have built one of the most powerful communication networks in human history. Imagine what you could accomplish if that power were directed toward protecting human life.

My wife, Veronika Bock, and I founded The World Human Peace Foundation, a Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to peace, human dignity, compassion, and the protection of innocent lives, particularly children.

We are introducing Peacilu — Our Peace Ambassador for Children — a symbol of innocence, friendship, hope, and peace without borders. Peacilu carries a simple message: You were born to live, to laugh, to learn, and to love — not to become victims of wars created by adults.

Mr. Zuckerberg, there comes a moment when the greatest achievement is no longer how much money one can earn, but how many lives one can help save. That moment is now.

We invite you to help create a worldwide movement for peace, using Facebook, Instagram, and Meta to unite families, educate young generations, confront hatred, and give innocent children a voice.

STOP KILLING CHILDREN. STOP THE HATRED. START PROTECTING HUMANITY.

The world faces a dangerous period. Conflicts, inequality, displacement, and international tensions threaten the future we leave to the next generation. No fortune can replace the life of a single innocent child.

We are not asking simply for money. We are asking for leadership, conscience, communication infrastructure, and a willingness to help make peace more visible than violence.

Let Facebook become something extraordinary again. Let Instagram become a platform where children are celebrated and protected. Let Meta demonstrate that technological progress without humanity is not progress at all.

You have already shown the world what you can build. Now show the world what you can help save.

Veronika and I have dedicated our own resources and efforts to this mission because every innocent human life has equal value, regardless of nationality, religion, or birthplace.

Through Peacilu, we want to give children everywhere a universal ambassador of friendship, compassion, and hope. We invite you to join us — not for publicity, but to help build a world where children no longer have to fear being killed by the decisions of adults.

History will remember those who accumulated extraordinary wealth. But it will remember even more profoundly those who used their power to protect humanity.

Mr. Zuckerberg, you have the means to make a difference on a scale few individuals in history have ever possessed. The question is no longer whether you can. The question is whether you will.
